What is a book launch team all about?

Writing a book is just the beginning. The next step is to get the word out about the book to as many people as possible. A book launch team helps to spread the word about a book in many different ways, like leaving reviews, sharing on social media, or just talking about what you’re learning from the book with friends. 

I’ve already pre-ordered my copy, can I still join the book launch team?

Yes! If you’ve already pre-ordered the book you can submit your launch team application below with a copy of your receipt in order to join the launch team.

What can I expect when I join the book launch team?

You can expect a lot of fun and community! You can also expect to learn a new approach to your finances that focuses on taking control of your money and using it to create the most fulfilling and rich life possible. Because it’s not about the money, it’s about living the life you deeply desire. 

What do I get when I join the book launch team?

When you join the book launch team you’ll get a digital copy of the book so you can start reading right now! You’ll also get access to a private member’s only community on Circle where you can share and talk about the book. Plus you’ll get access to private Q&As with Scarlett where you’ll be able to go deeper into the book plus get a behind the scenes look at the process of launching a book.

What happens after I submit my application to join the book launch team?

First, you’ll get a confirmation email from us within the next hour confirming that we’ve received your application. Then a member of our team will review your application and confirm that you’ve pre-ordered the book.

Then we’ll send an email to you with instructions on how to join the private community and how to access your copy of the book. This process typically takes a few business days because each secure book download link is unique and created manually. 

How do I access my free digital copy of the book?

After we’ve confirmed your application to the launch team, we’ll send you an email with your unique link to download a digital copy of It’s Not About the Money.

This digital copy will be sent to you through NetGalley. If you’re not a member, it’s completely free. Just sign up at www.netgalley.com with the e-mail address you provided on your launch team application.

The download link is case sensitive. You’ll need to access it using a reader app like Kindle – it won’t work if you try to just open the file on a desktop.

about the author

I’m a Yale-law educated finance attorney and wealth expert. After almost a decade in non-profit consumer finance, I started One Big Happy Life, where I’ve taught millions of people just like you how to take control of their money and start building wealth.

But beyond the credentials, I’m also a person with hopes, kids, student loans, a mortgage, and a dream to leave a legacy behind. And yes, I want to enjoy my life too!
